These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which you may access and use ThinkActuary. They include important information about subscriptions, acceptable use, and the indicative nature of marking and grading feedback.

1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of ThinkActuary, a service operated by ThinkActuary Pty Ltd. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the platform.

2. Educational Use

ThinkActuary is provided as an educational and revision support platform for actuarial students and professionals.

The platform is designed to support exam preparation, practice, feedback, and progress tracking. It is not an official examining body service.

3. Indicative Marking

Auto Mark and Actuary Mark results are indicative only.

Any marks, grades, comments, or feedback provided through the platform may differ from those awarded by ASSA's exam marking panel or any other official examining body.

You must not treat platform feedback as an official exam result or as a guarantee of future exam performance.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity carried out through your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You must use the platform lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the service, other users, or our systems.

You must not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorised access, copy restricted content for resale, or use the service in a fraudulent or abusive manner.

6. Subscriptions, Credits, and Paid Services

Some features require payment, subscription access, or marking credits.

Unless we state otherwise in writing, fees paid for subscriptions, credits, and marking services are non-refundable once the relevant service or access has been provided.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, design, branding, software, and supporting materials remain the property of the relevant rights holder.

You may use the platform for your personal study and professional development, but you may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit platform content without permission.

8. Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, or change features, content, pricing, or subject availability from time to time.

We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.

Our platform is provided on an as available basis, and you use it at your own risk.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where there is misuse, non-payment, suspected fraud, or a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

You may stop using the platform at any time.
